About this work
Not a picture but a piece of furniture: a table top 60 cm across that Rami Alon surfaced in mosaic. It is the only work in the exhibition meant to have a glass set down on it.
The horse head on the table is identical to the horse head hanging on the wall in this exhibition. It is worth looking at the two together, as one set: the same head, once as an image on a wall and once as a surface you touch.
