Accessibility

This site is built to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities, in the spirit of Israel’s Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law (1998) and the accessibility regulations made under it (2013).

Conformance level

This site meets Israeli Standard IS 5568 at level AA, which is based on the W3C’s WCAG 2.0 guidelines.

What has been done

All content is delivered as real text rather than pictures of text, and can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content or horizontal scrolling. Text-to-background contrast has been measured on every page and is at least 4.5:1. Every image carries descriptive alternative text. The whole site can be operated by keyboard alone, and the focus indicator is visible at every step. Heading structure on each page is logical and unbroken, so a screen reader can move between sections. Each page begins with a “skip to content” link. The site has been tested at widths from 320 pixels up to full desktop, and in combination with 200% zoom.

Known limitations

The site links to the artist’s Instagram page and to videos hosted on an external service. That content is outside our control and its accessibility is the responsibility of those services.
